Apart from when she is on one of her low budget solo trips or writing about them as "especially.zama" on Instagram, Zama Ferin, an architect by profession, works at DAC.
She is part of the curatorial team at Design Ashram & WAT.
Co-curating the uber-successful event ‘The Flea Market’, which took place at Aspin Courtyards earlier this year, adds on to the feathers in her cap.
Zama chose to pen on a few interesting landmarks in the city of Calicut where Art Legends conducted the photo shoot for the launch of our Eid collection last week.

“Choosing cultural landmarks in the city - the Broken Bridge, Mishkal Mosque, Kuttichira Kulam and the Halwa Store in Mittai Theruvu - to launch ‘Manzilein’ is in fact a beautiful way to embody the essence of Kozhikode – a metropolitan city perpetually juxtaposed with shades and tones of its vivid culture, the modern perpetually swayed by the ancient.
Launching the Art Legends Eid Collection with these landmarks from a different era as the backdrop is, in my opinion, an active way to indulge in the romanticism of the month of Ramadan and the festival of Eid, as well as a tribute to the rich cosmopolitan past of Kozhikode.”
